How to Play Reds & Blacks

Updated: 7 days ago

This version changes the rules by allowing you to build your lanes in either black or red lines. As long as the lane is built in red or black, you can build your lanes with the black suits and the red suits.

General Rules:

Before playing, place your mat down and place the aces down with the red suits together in lane one and two, and the black suits in land three and four similar to image 4D.

Normal discard rules apply.

1) Objective: First build the red and black suits in lanes one and three, starting with the Ace card and finishing. Once the lanes are completed with a King, begin building the second lane in reverse order starting with the King and finishing the lane with the Ace.

2) Alternative Play Option: Build and finish the first and third lane similar to Section 6A but instead of reverse building starting with Kings, simply continue building from the Aces up to the King.

Playing Reds and Blacks with Free Play: No Penalties. Simply complete the red and

black build in accordance with Section 1 or Section 2.

Playing Reds and Blacks with Standard Play: Penalties apply. Refer to Penalties Table.

Complete Objective 1 with the least amounts of points, or the shortest time to complete possible.

Playing Reds and Blacks with Versus Play: No Penalties unless played with the

Heaven and Hell Expansion. Players decide if they wish to play either Section 1 or

2. Players compete against each other to complete their lanes in accordance

with the Objective. The first to complete all four lanes win the game.
